Okay, I'm sure you all know that being honest isn't always rewarding and sometimes acknowledged. But how can we be rewarded without having to fill out a 25 question survey and surrendering our e-mails for a spool of span & viruses?
HOW?
Easy peassy!!
FIRST, find a company in which you admire and can't live without (figuratively speaking of course...hehe)! For example, my favorite company is Benefit Cosmetics, I can't live without their voluminous mascaras.
NEXT Find out what the company's corporate address is through research on good old Google. You will need it to send them a personalized handwritten letter (I figured the more personal, the better. It can be typed if you wish).
On your letter, you will write and express how 'wonderful' and how much you 'admire' their product. Compliment them on your favorite item, and (if) the product has made a difference in your life & you use it religiously or wish to use it religiously, include it in your personalized letter. The basic idea is to show them your relationship to their products and what a committed customer you are.

Believe it or not, companies enjoy doing this. The loyalty of their customers is the most important thing to their businesses and if it weren't for us, their business wouldn't run. Studying some business subjects I've come to learn, and all of the industries know, that word of mouth and referrals is the BEST advertisement and compliment to a business. There is no catch!
MY EXPERIENCE..
So far, I sent letters to 11 companies today. I made a list of them and I will check off the list when I get a response. As soon as I get my first response I will blog about it... lets hope it's within 2-weeks! I was as sincere and honest as I could be about each company and product that I liked. Lets cross our fingers for luck!!
